Our Academics
DLC employs the ZIMSEC primary school curriculum which is enriched by a wide range of extra-curricular activities, pre-arranged educational trips and visitors. Pupils’ good achievement is due to the effective use of challenging targets at whole-school, class and individual pupil level.
Literacy
Reading and writing is the basic skill that every child at school should have. In this regard we put uttermost importance to the development of every child's fluency in literacy.

Sciences are the most sort after subjects in the modern day. At DLC we work tirelessly to ensure every child achieves their best potential as per the given curriculum by the Ministry of Education Sports and Culture.
Writing
An essential skill we give to every child is the ability to write in good style. This is a good communication skill in children that will enable them to be competitive in the modern world.
Information and Communication Technology
The future of the world is in technology. At DLC we strive to make our students relevant in the current and future world by giving them relevant skills in computer programming and coding. This will also allow them to develop their skills and be experts by the time they are adults.
Mathematics
Mathematics, apparently it is the most feared subject by most in our society. We aim to give our children the best foundation and change the conception against mathematics.
Physical Education
Our Academic structure recognizes that healthy minds need healthy bodies to be effective. Physical education addresses the health needs of our students. It also creates an enjoyable and motivating educational environment.
